On the golden water-lilies
there´s a new shine tonight
at the lake in front of the house
where you welcomed us years ago.

Where the honeybird came for breakfast
I can hear your song inside me
after you passed through the Veranda´s curtain.

There´s one red rose among the red roses
that holds the blood your heart had to bleed.
The birds prove they´ve learned your sweet song of joy.

For the hope you gave to so many of the young
may God reward you with eternal youth.
